Hello, random coaster enthusiast! I’m so happy you’ve stumbled upon my little site here. My name’s Kira and I’m the world’s only female enthusiast (or so I like to think.) I don’t visit too many parks as I live where there are almost none nearby, and I’m not old enough to go anywhere by myself, so I have to wait until I take a vacation with my family. But that doesn’t mean you won’t find any awesome coaster tales on here! So keep your hands, arms feet and legs inside the train at all times, and enjoy your ride!
It’s been quite some time since I was 8 and looking back I can see how totally GP I was. I mean, I was 8, but still, I was freakin GP!
My very first amusement park was Cedar Point. I rode the Iron Dragon and thought I was cool. I bragged to all my friends “I SURVIVED IRON DRAGON!1!1!1!” and they looked at me like I was an idiot.
After ID my mom dragged me over to Frontiertown and put me in line for CCMR. I was scared. I rode it. I loved it. I thought it was intense. I made my stepdad ride it with me dozens of times that day. I have yet to apologize for all those MF rides I deprived him from by doing that.
Later at Cedar Point:
Me: *points at Raptor* LOOK AT MANTIS!!!!
Because praying mantises (manti?) are green, yknow??? I got Raptor and Mantis confused all the time!
When I went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, I was scared of Grover’s Alpine Express, because I saw that it had a really big drop.
Turns out I was looking at Apollo’s Chariot.
Later that night my sis, my stepmom, and me were waiting outside Curse of DarKastle for my dad to get off when this woman ran out of the exit to the ride screaming her face off. Wow, I thought, that must be REALLY scary! I’ll never ride it!
“Don’t worry, the lift hill is the scariest part!”
“The front seat is the most intense!”
“Wow, Vortex (KI) looks intense!”
